Studio A is Asylum's primary tracking and mixing studio. The control room features a 128 track PRO|TOOLS Mix³ TDM recording system with two 888 24 bit I/O's and is stocked with industry leading plug-ins from Bombfactory, Focusrite, Line 6, Lexicon, Waves, McDSP, TC|Tools, Digidesign and more. Our Panasonic RAMSA DA-7 automated digital mixing console is complimented by a large variety of professional microphones, preamps, and an 88 key piano controller connected to several standard MIDI sound sources and samplers. We also have a selection of guitars, keyboards and other instruments on hand, although we recommend confirming with us ahead of time if you plan to use these as the selection varies from time to time. Studio A's 17'x15'x10' live room also includes a completely isolated 6'x5'x8' vocal booth for soloists and overdubs, and both the live and control rooms are accented by natural light during the daytime from the overhead skylights.
