Meet Thee Sound Dude...
In 2004 Mr. Zills opened Dungeon Studios and in 2010 renamed to Asylum Recording Studios, started his own music label and soon following his own digital distribution company. He has assisted in the careers of several notable artists from the Midwest. In 2013 Mr. Zills moved his label, distribution company, and built a new facility for Asylum Recording Studios in Dubuque, Iowa; where he continues to assist other artists with their musical talents. In 2021 Asylum Recording Studios became the first approved SAG/AFTRA Audio House in Iowa. As of 2022, Asylum Recording Studios is the ONLY Black owned (and first) SAG approved Audio House in the state.

Through Tri-Phoenix Media, our artists have access to artist development, media, promotional and marketing management. Our media partner can set up artists with Electronic press kits, band pages, Create biographies and have blog write ups.
